I was also wondering if my MacBook air will run the sims 3 properly. I have an external disc drive and have installed the base game, seasons and pets. For some reason, when I open the launcher and hit 'play', it just opens a plumbob loading screen but never launches. I am up to date on software updates. This is what my mac has. Jun 20, 2014 I have the 13 inch Macbook Air and I have NEVER played the Sims on my Macbook before or my other laptop. I need to understand how this Origin thing works because I know that it says you need that to play The Sims. The point is that my Macbook does not have a disk drive to put the disk in. Hey, so I was wanting to get the Sims 4 on my macbook air and I have been reading around trying to find any way to get it and see if it is available for my computer and I have read in heaps of places that it is not available for Mac yet but in other places I have read that it can be available with the right resources.is there any way I can download it onto my Macbook without needing to spend.

I was wondering if my Macbook Air would be able to run TS3 properly? I'm probably going to purchase through Origin and get the bundle that comes with the base game, late night and high end loft stuff and I'm getting another bundle that comes with generations and world adventures. I just wanted to check first if my laptop can handle it.
